Open Letter to President Elect Joe Biden

I hope that someone on the Biden team will read this and pass along the essence of it to President Elect
Joe Biden.

Mr. Biden, I did not vote for you but I am glad you won and especially appreciate your kind and gentle
acceptance speech. I am thankful for your citation of the hymn, “On Eagles’ Wings” because as a
country we need to depend on that lift if we are going to make it through all the crises.

I humbly ask you to examine your positions on two issues. Being concerned about the separation of
children from their parents at the border with potential harm, you should be concerned about
separation of preborn children from their mothers with certain death. And it is not good for the
mothers, either, as I showed in “It’s Not Good for Women (Or
Men).” https://rossolson.org/abortion/not_good.html Regardless of short-term relief, there is long
term post-traumatic stress disorder.

The other issue is treating gender dysphoria with chemical and surgical means altering the body to
conform to the desired appearance. Despite the fact that the vast majority of children come to piece
with their biologic gender eventually, and the evidence that the disorder has a psychological basis, there
is great pressure to take these irrevocable steps. The long-term consequence in people subjected to this
approach is an extremely high suicide rate after they realize that their problem is not solved and they
