Birth control disaster
It is appropriate that your March 2 2 editorial on providing birth control for
St. Paul high school students was juxtaposed with a — supposedly unrelated — cartoon
showing railroad crossing sign that says "Activate Brain Now."
Teenaged sexual activity leads to train wrecks. Preventing babies and diseases,
even if the technology worked as advertised, does not help with that.
The psychological devastation is lifelong. All "birth control"
does is give a false sense of security and official "permission"
to run the risk.
— Ross Minneapolis.
