Dear Editor,
The December 5 issue mentioned the relatively quiet landing of Concord in New York. From personal auditory experience, I agree that it lands no more noisily than many other planes. The take-off is another matter, however.
Therefore, I humbly propose that the Concord be allowed to land in New York, but not to take off again. The surplus aircraft could be sent back to Europe via American ships, solving numerous problems immediately.
