The Suggestion

I know it's not important
And is very likely wrong.
I'd say that as ideas go
It isn't worth a song.
It's certain to be harmful
if allowed to freely spread.
(Yet the person who suggested it
Sure got a swollen head.)

Now you may ask the reason
Why I'm absolutely sure,
How my evaluation can
be straight, unbiased, pure.
Well, it's really very simple,
The criteria are two:
It's right if it had come from me,
It's wrong, my friend, from you.
